HOT POWER
This 75-minute class is a hybrid between a Vinyasa class and hot yoga. You get the best of both worlds: the fun flow of a Vinyasa class and the de-toxification benefits of a hot class. The class begins with Sun Salutations and then evolves into poses to bring balance to the mind and body while uplifting the spirit. Like Hot Yoga, the sequence of poses is the same each time. Some experience with flowing yoga is recommended. Please bring a towel and water.
HOT SLOW FLOW
Perfect for both flow lovers who crave the heat and heat lovers who are new to flow, this 75-minute class is a fun blend of hot yoga and vinyasa traditions. The room is heated to 105 degrees and emphasis is placed on proper alignment, effective use of the breath, and safe transitions between postures. This class offers an opportunity to build endurance, strength, and focus in a supportive, light-hearted environment. All levels are welcome; students are encouraged to drink water and rest in child’s pose whenever needed.
HOT YOGA
Hot Yoga is a series of 26 to 28 postures performed in a specific order, in a room heated to 95 to 100 degrees. This class methodically works the entire body, focusing on bones, muscles, glands, the nervous system and the immune system. Incorporating strength, balance, and flexibility, Hot Yoga teaches students how each pose nurtures the mind and restores and shapes the body. This class is for all levels, even if you are new to yoga. It is 75 to 90 minutes in length. Please note, for any class prior to 9:00 a.m., parking is behind the Plaza. Pull around the building by the old Blockbuster, drive all the way to the back. Look for the Hudson River Yoga sign on the door.

QIGONG
Qigong (or Chi Kung) is an ancient system of self-healing exercises developed in China and practiced for thousands of years. Qi refers to the energy that infuses all life and gong means the practice or work of the cultivation of Qi (energy). Qigong practice leads to better health and vitality and a tranquil state of mind. Like yoga, Qigong joins movement and breathing with intent to produce noticeable stress reduction benefits. Moving the body gently in optimized posture, deepening the breath and clearing the mind allows Qi to circulate to the organs, glands and tissues and maximize function. A constant flow of Qi throughout the body heals and maintains good health. Physical requirement: you must be able to stand under your own strength for one hour. All levels. 60 minutes.
RESTORATIVE YOGA
Restorative Yoga is about relaxing, restoring and renewing the body, mind and spirit through active relaxation and practiced stillness. Restorative Yoga is for beginners to yoga as well as those who have advanced practices. Bolsters, blankets and other props will be used as we employ four to six poses to restore the body over the course of 90 minutes. Class space is limited; please arrive early to guarantee your place.
SUNRISE YOGA
The room is warm, the music is soft, and the mood is welcoming to ease you into your day. Students will practice a series of asanas (yoga poses) that will prepare them for the day both physically and mentally. Prepare to exercise a lot, laugh a little, and focus the mind. All levels. 75 minutes. Please note, for any class prior to 9:00 a.m., parking is behind the Plaza. Pull around the building by the old Blockbuster, drive all the way to the back. Look for the Hudson River Yoga sign on the door.
VINYASA
Vinyasa is appealing for its flowing nature as you transition from one pose to the next using your breath and movement to link each pose together. It focuses on balance, core strength, and mindfulness. Appropriate for all levels.
