Adrienne Taddeo

Adrienne started practicing yoga several years ago and quickly developed a passion for the countless benefits it provides for the mind and the body. Yoga is exercise with therapeutic powers allowing the body to become strong, the mind to become calm and to become self aware. Adrienne has grown up playing competitive sports and later went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Human Resources from Marist College in New York. Searching for a perfect balance of body and mind, she went on to receive her 200-hour teaching training. She enjoys the physical challenge and yet the serene energy yoga brings to her life. Adrienne encourages others to fully live in the present, self-improve and lead a healthy lifestyle in order for them to experience compassion and gratitude.

Bernadette Birney

Bernadette Birney is an idealist trying to look nonchalant in a smart-alec suit. She has taught yoga for well over a decade, and is a writer, and a life coach. She is known for her knowledge of philosophy and asana, surgically precise instruction, telling it like it is, humor, and the occasional profanity. Bernadette has contributed to Yoga Journal, Origin Magazine, Elephant Journal, Teachasana and is the author of a quirky, award-winning blog. Her events are designed to with a yoga’tude-free welcoming environment.

Gina Luna

Gina Luna, ERYT-500, has been teaching yoga in the Hudson Valley for the past 15 years, and her expertise is in Yoga Therapeutics, Yoga Alignment and Restorative Yoga. Gina leads a fun and playful yoga class, and finds creative ways to bring your body back into alignment through her knowledge and understanding of anatomy and yoga therapeutics. She finds the perfect blend for every body type and weaves her experience of Yoga to gently guide and uplift your practice. She received her YTT 200 hour through the Nosara Institute, at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, N.Y. in 1996. Gina has also earned her Pranassage Certifcation in 1998 and YTT500 in 2003 from the Nosara Institute in Costa Rica, Pilates Mat Certification from the Kelly Kane School of Core Integration, and Yoga Alliance ERYT-500 in 2004. Gina is forever grateful to her teachers and the teachers before them for their guidance and sharing of their teachings of this amazing practice of Yoga.

Liz Torres

Liz stumbled upon her first yoga class in a gym and decided to “give it a shot.” She was quickly drawn to the benefits of both the physical and the mental aspect of the practice. Noticing an improvement in sleeping patterns, a significant decrease in stress, and a more enlightened outlook on life, Liz decided to deepen her practice by taking her 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training with Kelly Kamm at Happy Buddha Yoga. Liz’s goal is to strengthen the mind and body while cultivating a sense of peace, balance, and mindfulness that students can carry with them both on and off the mat. Liz is continuing her education and is currently enrolled in a Children’s Yoga Alliance Teacher Training Program with Judy Levin. Mame Dimock

Mame Dimock has been a student of Yoga for more than 30 years. She has certificate-level training in three loving kindness practices: Restorative Yoga, Tai Chi Easy, and Reiki level I and II. Restorative Yoga is about relaxing, restoring and renewing the body, mind and spirit through active relaxation and practiced stillness. Restorative Yoga is for beginners to yoga as well as those who have long-time advanced practices. Taking time out to relax and renew is essential to living well. –Judith Lasater.

Molly Duncan

Molly first encountered yoga over a decade ago in Washington, D.C. as a way to relax in the face of working full-time and attending college at night. Noticing improved sleep patterns and flexibility, Molly also found yoga helped combat symptoms of an auto-immune disease and depression. Molly holds two yoga teacher training certifications from CorePower Yoga in Denver, Colorado: 200-hour Hot Yoga (2006) and Power Yoga Intensive (2011). She received her Tai Chi Easy Practice Leader certification from the Institute for Integral Qigong and Tai Chi (2013). She has taught yoga in Colorado, Indiana and New York. Knowing the immense benefits of yoga, she truly enjoys sharing yoga with her students and witnessing how transformative it can be in their lives. A graduate of the baking and pastry program at The Culinary Institute of America, she also truly enjoys dessert. Molly is grateful to those who have mentored and supported her yoga journey, especially her students, whom she endeavors to deserve.

Monique Dauphin

A longtime yoga and meditation practitioner, Monique specializes in blending yoga, psychotherapy, and meditation to help clients empower themselves, build self-awareness, and heal trauma. Her classes run the gamut from vigorous and dynamic vinyasas to more contemplative, mindfulness-oriented gentle yoga. In Monique’s vinyasas, clients can expect to sweat and challenge themselves in a supportive, non-judgmental environment against a backdrop of non-traditional music choices. Monique’s gentle classes and meditation workshops feature a light-hearted, beginner-friendly approach to mindfulness practices. Monique holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from SUNY New Paltz. She has studied vinyasa yoga with Liz Mandarano, E-RYT and mindfulness meditation with Jill Camera, E-RYT, Donna Sherman, LCSW, and Stephanie Speer, MA. In addition, she has studied yoga as a tool for trauma treatment with Bessel van der Kolk, MD, and David Emerson, E-RYT of the Black Lotus Yoga Project.

Stephanie Bifolco

Stephanie Rose is a Certified Anusara-Inspired Yoga Teacher and a nature-based Nutrition and Lifestyle Specialist. Her vision is to teach yoga, diet, and lifestyle based on the principles of nature for individual, community, and planetary healing. Her yoga classes are a mixture of hatha and vinyasa styles of yoga, with a focus on breath to calm and cleanse the body and mind and alignment to awaken the heart and spirit. Stephanie’s love of nature, passion for living sustainably, and desire to serve the yoga community led her to live and teach yoga full-time in the Hudson Valley. Originally from New York City, Stephanie lived in Peru for over 2 years as a Peace Corps volunteer, and later worked for over 6 years as a Social Worker and advocate of workers rights, women’s rights, and immigrant rights in cities throughout the East Coast and Mexico. A lover of travel, yoga, and health, Stephanie sees being in nature and doing wellness in community as a necessary step to achieve positive social change on the planet.

Susannah Grange

Susannah has been practicing yoga for 9 years, and completed her 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher training at Satya Yoga Center in 2008. She also continues to study Yoga as Therapy with Doug Keller. Susannah has deep gratitude for all her teachers and the great lineage that came before them. Susannah helps guide, support, and empower her students to build strength, balance, and flexibility from the inside out, through creative and playful exploration with attention to alignment. Using humor and compassion encourages her students to honor where they are in their bodies, and is of the firm belief that Yoga really is for everyone. Toni Farkas

Toni Lacativa Farkas, a former professional dancer and dance teacher, began studying yoga 15 years ago and finds it essential for staying youthful, flexible and healthy. She has been a natural foods cook and student of alternative healing for the last 40 years. She recently completed the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course at West Hartford Yoga and always counts strokes when brushing her teeth.
